Jim Fronapfel is a local artist from Loveland Colorado.  Being an emerging artist, Fronapfel is still experimenting with his style and forms in his work. He has been creating different types of work for a number of years, but more recently became serious enough to start displaying publicly. “In finding opportunities to display my work, it challenges me to review my work more seriously than just creating art as a hobby”, Fronapfel states.

Jim's work is a combination of pastels, oils, and charcoal drawings or paintings, that display Fronapfel’s love for figurative and portrait work. James states, “I try to capture some moment within the figure or portrait that I see when viewing my subject, as well as the multiple images that are constantly floating around in my head. The challenge for me is to try to capture what I see in the model or figure in a variety of mediums.”
